Lindberg Waterproofing

Lindberg Waterproofing was founded by R.L. Lindberg in 1983. Lindberg began his career with a background in civil engineering and had been involved in the construction industry all of his life. He followed his ambition to run his own company and provide high-quality services in the St. Louis area and secured his first projects by bidding small, commercial waterproofing projects to St. Louis general contractors.

After over a decade of waterproofing solutions, R.L. Lindberg knew he wanted to start training his replacements. In 1999, Patti Johnson and Keith Coffey became co-owners of Lindberg Waterproofing with the intention of one day taking over the company so Lindberg could enjoy retirement. R.L. spent the next several years mentoring them before his eventual retirement in 2015.

Around this time, air and vapor barrier systems installed on exterior sheathing became an essential part of the building envelope. Lindberg Waterproofing, always staying ahead of the curve, added these services in order to provide the latest and greatest technology in waterproofing.

In 2015, Patti Johnson became president of Lindberg Waterproofing, with Keith Coffey serving as vice president. Today, we are dedicated to hiring the most knowledgeable crew and installing the best waterproofing solutions in all of our projects. Lindberg Waterproofing is union trained, manufacturer approved and continues to provide ongoing training to our installers to ensure the highest quality workmanship.
